I’ve been staggered at how low-key the response to a suspected Russian downing of another passenger plane has been.

Perhaps it is because it happened on Christmas morning or that it involved an Azerbaijan Airlines plane with mostly non-English speaking passengers? We should hope it is these two reasons or a combination of both…
